As you all know, my amazing son Daniel has been climbling Mount Killimanjaro. I text him just to tell him I was thinking about him all the time. And I was amazed to get a text back from him. He said I can't believe i've nearly done it. He is 2 hours in front of us, so 11pm his time, he starts his final ascent to the top, so they arrive at the top for the Sun-rise. He says he's knacked, but bloody loving it ( his words ). It will be a great confidence boost for him. I am so proud of him, he is a truly Amazing young man. Can't wait to her all his stories. Thank you to his Uncle Bob for watching over him. The photo's are his T-shirt that he printed to wear for when he gets to the top, with all the names of the people who sponsored him, to give him this wonderful, amazing experience. ReplyDeletethat's great Sandra - my friend did it a couple of years ago and didn't quite make the summit due to altitude sickness but said it was completely amazing. Well done him!
